Hello,

Iam from MN and going to have lap band surgery. I have family that has had it done and love it. I will be going to Mexico to have it done. I'am a self pay too. I have a date of the 5th of June I'am so excited. Iam trying to learn all I can. I live on a farm. I will be glab to lose the weight then I can ride. Doing chores are a chore if you know what I mean. It will be great not having to huff and puff to do them. So here I'am getting ready for a new life.

Hi Snowy Owl,

Welcome to the board. I too have a family member (sister) who had the lapband about 15 months ago. She was my inpiration to get it. I am scheduled for surgery on April 5 and really looking forward to it.

Good luck in your journey. This boad is a great source of information and inspiration.
