Lost 0lbs Post Op

I'm starting to think that this band was a waste of money. I was Banded December 17 2012, it's now almost June and I have only lost 3lbs. What the hell am i doing wrong?

Thank you everyone! I've started tracking calories and drinking more water, I haven't lost anything yet but I am going for another fill which will be my 5th fill probably about 8cc, lets hope it's green zone time!!!

Glad you're keeping positive about this. I would recommend going to an endocrinologist to get tested for a potential hormone imbalance. It might be that you just have something that is preventing you from losing weight. I hope this is not the case just for the sake of your health, but I have a friend with thyroid problem that was gaining weight even after her WLS. She's now medicated and back on track!

I'm at over 14cc in a 14cc band. Sometimes you just have to crank that baby to 11! That being said, I exercise almost every day and I follow a low carb high protein/fat diet and avoid sugar, fruits, breads, rice, etc.

Are you really 14cc's in a 14cc band??
