I had my first full couple weeks ago an it's didnt hurt at all just alittle poke feeling from the needle I wa very scared but it was a breeze, my doc use an X-ray when you drink the barium to see how much to put in I got 2cc so far I'm feeling pretty satisfied but everyone is very different I've lost 27 lbs since preop march 19th. No worries you will do fine :). Hope this helped some
