NERVES KICKING IN!!

I'll be banded in 5 Days and my anxiety is in overdrive. I wakeup thinking about surgery, i keep watchin YouTube videos of the procedure. Then I begin to think... Hey you've lost 50lbs in 6months, do you REALLY need the band.... I already know the answer.. YES I DO. How can I ease my nerves & my mind to help me realize this is going to be the BEST THING I'VE EVER DONE....?

  • If you've lost 50lbs in 6 months, just think of what you can do with a tool to help you out. You've done a great job so far and you will continue to do so after your surgery.

I had to stop watching utube and the neg. post on the board, I KNEW the band is right for me, but all the other stuff sure feeds into our fears... Good luck to you!

  • it was the best decision I've ever made for myself and for my health. I feel great even tho I've got more to lose. I know you are nervous and that's normal but when surgery day came for me I wasn't,
