Hi there, first of all, congrats on your surgery! I also had a hernia repair done when they put in my band and my surgery was day surgery, so I didn't have to stay in the hospital at all. I have heard that the recovery can be a bit more painful when they include the hernia repair, but mine wasn't terrible. Good luck! :)

I had the hernia repaired and my stomach was in the wrong place and that was moved into place. I also had a large cyst removed from my chest all the same day. I stayed over night but my surgery was at 7ish pm and I didn't get to my room until after 11pm. I had no extra pain from the added surgeries/repairs.

Good luck.

Thank you guys! I'm just worried about getting the 2 years of my weight history becuz my bmi was lower then what it is now... I don't understand how they gave me a surgery date but didnt submit anything to my insurance yet... I'm just stressing myself out... Will they deny me if my weight was lower 2 years ago?
