Mine is and I think most peoples are as well.

Yes, that is the proper location for a port, also my nut said if you experience "bee sting" type discomfort on the left side of the stomach, just under the breast it's the tubing nothing to be concerned about as long as it's just a sting and not PAIN. the tubing is sutured to the right rib cage in allot of people.

Yes. In fact as you heal you will be able to feel it under that large incision. I just got my first fill which left a bruise and the needle went in directly under and centered from the large incision.

Good luck =)

Mine was actually placed above my belly button in my midsection between 2 small incisions my largest incision is located right beneath my rib cage on my left side

Ok yeah i noticed that little stinging sensation for the first time today under my right breast. Thank you for that information because i was like what is that, doesn't hurt just a little uncomfortable. I'm still tender in certain areas but not bad for two weeks post surgery.

Mine is located midway between incisions on my right side. The port is at least three inches from any incision point. How the heck the surgeon got it there, I have NO idea, and I probably don't want to know!
