You can do it!At first you will love the smell of all the foods.By the 2nd week you will be grossed out with the smell of foods!I admit it is hard the first few days but then it gets better and you will lose a lot of weight also.Good luck!

No worries, I was the same as you!! Decided I was going to have a food funeral.....say goodbye to all the wonderful foods (that made me FAT) that I would never eat again. I may have even shed a few tears! It turned out I was too nervous to have the funeral. Now...I have no interest in any of it and I only had surgery on Friday.

You CAN do this. You are already on the right path. It won't be easy, the first few days of the pre-op diet your tummy will growl like a bear waking up from hibernation. Stay strong and remember why you are on this journey. When you feel you are having a weak moment, turn to the lovely folks on this forum. They are wonderful, supportive, informative, and will help you stay on task.

How exciting this all is!!
