Congratulations! I was banded 12/28/12 and was so prepared for surgery but I did have some pain afterwards. I was told it was gas and I did have it about 2 weeks. The gas went all the way up to my shoulder so be prepared. After that it's a breeze. I'm still adjusting to my Lapband fills and go for my third this Wednesday. I'm hoping I hit the the green zone this time.

Awww yay!!!! That's awesome! Yes, everyone is different and each process is different. My surgery went by quick and it was an in and out procedure for me. Some people have to stay overnight at the hospital. I was so groggy from the anesthesia, that I didn't want to even get up from the hospital bed, lol. I fell asleep on and off all day long. I did have pain, but I started walking to help decrease it and now on day 6, the main pain I'm dealing with is constipation :(. The process will be rewarding, but you will have to try your best with not giving in to the mind games. You're on the way to a new you!!! Congrats again :)
