skin problems?

Hello all. Has anyone had any problems with their facial skin since starting their pre op diet. I've only been on it two days but I've been on 1000 calories for four weeks in the v run up. It's all blotchy and lifeless?

I didn't have problems, but I would up your Water intake and make sure you're taking a Multivitamin. You're not get all the nutrients you need at this point. This should help restore your skin.

Thanks. Have been taking the multi vitamins for two days, was starting to think there may be something in there that doesn't agree with me, but yes, I definitely will increase my water. Thanks for the advice :)

Yep... keep the liquid intake, non protein based to 64 ounces or more, and use a facial moisturizer. Dehydration can cause the skin to look sallow.

Thanks. Will increase my liquid from tomorrow and get moisturising. :)

Oh have just converted 64 ounces to litres, and I'm definitely not drinking enough. I've only had about a quarter of that today. ..
