Just found out I am getting my band on April 8. Start Pre-op today. Just around the corner. Very nervous, but very excited. This forum has helped a lot.

Thanks. I was planning on doing it in may, but the doc said he had a slot on the 8th. Otherwise it was going to be mid-may. I just have to start my pre-op today. I thought I would have more time to mentally prepare. Maybe it is a blessing to just have to start today, I was kinda spending to much time thinking of farewell meals. Let's do it.

ha ha. I hear you on that one. I booked my surgery on March 18th and had to start the Slimtime pre-op shakes on the 22nd. Gave me little to no time for a food funeral. I think that may be a good thing! I am impatient so the sooner, the better for me. Keep us posted!!
