I am in the pre op stage again as my lap band is needing to be removed because it is moving down my stomach. I'm getting it removed with a different doctor in a different state and man are things different.... My first surgery I had to do diet for 2 weeks and this one they only said 2 days prior... Does that sound right? I'm super nervous again!

I had my band placed 2/19 and the only pre-op requirement was clear liquids the day before. I had no other diet restrictions whatsoever!

Oh! They had me bathe with antibacterial soap for two weeks prior to surgery to reduce the risk of infection. So your sounds normal to me!

dont be nervous but you will be anyhow......some people like me had to do the 2 week liquid and some did only a week and some had a 2 day before or none.....i think it is just based on what your surgeon wants.....i wish you all the best

I would guess it probably has something to do with your starting weight as well.
