Second week after surgury

Ok I'm starting to worry, I'm allowed cream liquids this week but I'm not feeling full!! I feel I can keep eating soups and they add up!! Should I call dr?? Or am I not eating enough I thought we could only hold a few ounces??? Please help me :(

Soup is a liquid and passes through the band immediately. It's normal to be hungry on the post op diet.

Even once you're back on real food, you have to remember a few things. If you're eating until you're full, you're eating too much. You should be eating until you're satisfied not full. You also have to remember that band isn't supposed to physically stop you from eating, that will always be your job. This is why it's so important to stick to band sized portions.

Ok so you see the link? I posted it on my last message.

I'm not sure if you can add a ticker from phone, but on a computer you can by clicking your own profile then the "edit profile" button on the top right. You'll then see all the options down the left side, including signature

Ill try lol I just downloaded this app on my phone ill try laptop thanks, and I'm still hungry lol I thought we could only hold a few ounces and feel full, this suxs

Once you have adequate Fluid in your band, trust me, it doesn't suck. You will easily be able to go 4 or more hours without hunger after eating very little food. I honestly forget to eat and skip meals entirely because I'm not hungry.

Hang in there, it gets much easier and better.
