Trouble every time I get to certain tightness

I was banded 2 years ago. Everyime I get to a certain tightness I get acid reflux really bad at night. This happen before and I had fluid removed. Gradually adding it back. At that certain point again acid reflux. About 6 months ago had to have all fluid remove because had a slight slip. Gradually have been adding fluid back. Went 2 weeks ago and add another .2cc and now acid reflux. Taking Prilosec but at night it is awful. Last night so bad it ran out of my mouth. Think I am going to have to stay at 5 cc in my band and not get any more fills. I hope this makes some sense and is their anyone else who has had this problem. Calling as soon as office opens and getting fluid out today.

I have the same problem. I now know that right for me is a little lose and not as tight as I hear others describe. Once I accpeted this everything feel into place. I really have to make sure I make good choices and when I feel hungry I drink water first and then if hungry i have a smart snack. Try to never let myself feel deprived. Good Luck to you. Feeling too tight is one of the worst feeling to me and my nurse told me reflux can lead to serious problems.

I also had the reflux and night coughs. Went and had .75 cc's taken out. Going back in a month to have it put back while my stomach heals. Your not alone and its been over a year since I got my last fill too.

Whatever level it is that keeps resulting in nighttime acid reflux, it's too tight.

Aim for a lower number/amount.
