Itchy Port

Lately where my port is connected to my skin has become extremely itchy. I have been banded since august 2012, and have never experienced any itching until the last week or so which is about 4 weeks after i had my first fill. Also my port seems to be sticking out more than usual. I was wondering if any of you have experienced this or if it is even a cause for concern. I have an appointment for another fill in mid march so Im debating about waiting till then to talk to my Dr. or if I should call. It doesnt seem like Im having a severe allergic reaction because thats the only symptom I have. Just checkin if this is normal or not with you guys. :-)

Your scar is still healing. I have had a hysterectomy and even after several years, the scar would itch. Sometimes my port sticks out. As you lose, it will become more dominate, mine sticks out when I am in the swimming pool! Best wishes, Karen
