Hi Shelley. I had the lap band surgery last August. It was painless and recovery was fast. My best friend is scheduled to have it done on 8/22/13. She's nervous& excited as well. I've lost 50 lbs. so far however now I'm struggling with proper diet, exercise, etc. it's a great feeling when everyone comments on your appearance.

Can someone provide me with information on this Louisiana program. I have a cousin who is in desperate need of gastric surgery. Thx
