PreOp EKG Abnormal

Other than the weight, I am pretty healthy - no other factors. My EKG came back abnormal so my primary care wants me to take some meds. Anyone else have this? He just said it was abnormal but non specific....still cleared me but I am seeing a cardiologist just in case.....

Yes, I also had several issues with abnormal EKG and cardiac PET scan (stress test); FINALLY, after heart catheter, got the ALL CLEAR to have lap band surgery but it delayed my surgery for about 6 months.

I guess it is better to be safe, than sorry.

Good Luck ~
