Chia seeds anyone?

I'm wanting to add chia seeds to my shakes for their health benefits but I'm wondering if they are safe. Supposedly they swell after you eat them. Could they swell and overfill you?

I have read a couple things about them being band-friendly. There is even a thread on here that talks about one person's success with them....maybe you could contact that member.

Hopefully - I've linked it correctly:

I know people who use them. Best to start out small. I asked my nurse about them and she said try them and let her know. I was told to not let them sit long after you mix them.
