GAS PAIN!!!!

OMG! I am 6 days post op and now have gas pain in my back & shoulder. Every time I feel like I need to burp, I get a sharp pain in my back! I've been trying all the remedies everyone is suggesting on this site but nothing seems to be helping. I don't even want to eat because I'm afraid of the gas pain! :(

I am having it too. Do u feel nauseated too?

I had shoulder gas so bad it hurt to breath. I felt like I could not get a deep breath. I used a heating pad and an icy hot patch. It helped some. It took about two weeks to ease up. Good luck it will go away.

Try laying flat on your back and try relaxing and breathing, I found that helped me. I actually got the shoulder pain last night whilst sleeping and I'm seven months banded, they actually say its referred pain from the diagram.
