newly banded

I was banded in Dec. Since than I lost about twenty lbs. I still experience hunger despite having had my first fill. How soon after a fill is appropriate to request another. Im getting frustrated and starting to pick between meals. I don't think I've ever felt restriction.

Thanks, I'll call Mon. I wasn't sure if the insurance only paid for fills at designated times. Since I haven't had paid a co-pay for my post-op visits.

How soon you can get fills is dependent completely on your surgeon. They all seem to have their own schedule.

Keep in mind it takes most people multiple fills before they have adequate Fluid in their band. Even then, you will always feel hunger because hunger is the body's natural signal that it needs food. You'll just feel hunger less often.
