Hi Everyone! I've been wanting to get the lap band for quiet sometime now but haven't been able to afford it, I came across this Oband commercial, called, went in for my initial visit on 1/18 (last week) and it went well. The office didn't really seem like a dr office and my husband was skeptical about it since he went with me, so I did some research online but I didn't find out much about Oband. Just wanted to know if anyone has gone through Oband for their lap band procedure. Oh by the way I have Aetna PPO and from what they told me at my first visit they're just advocates for the patient to get this type of procedure approved by the insurance. Maybe that's why the office didn't really look like a professional doctors office?
