almost throwing up after first few bites??

Hi everyone.

so i was wondering if anyone else has been having my problem. today starts my second week on real food so im fairly new to my band. but anyway randomly ill take a bite or two of my meal and i get so nauseous (gagged a few times never puked) I'm wondering why this happens. it doesnt happen everytime i eat something. does it have to do with it being the first thing i've eaten in the day?

thanks

size of the bite probably make it the size of your finger nail...and eat as slow as possible, that should help

I'd say slow way down and take smaller bites. You should always wait at least a minute between bites. I've had bouts of nausea when I've eaten too quickly or eaten too much.

Some peope cant tolerate certain foods. I was able to eat eggs and turkey sausage, then I had my 3rd fill and I can only eat a few bites before it gets stuck. As time goes on and your body heals, you will be able to tolerate more. It's part of the learning process, we have to retrain ourselves how to eat the Lap Band way.I tend to take too big of bites,so I eat with a baby spoon.
