PBing means productive burping. It's when stuck food comes back up, but it's burped up not vomited.

As far as weight loss, there's no real answer for that. It all depends on you. Everyone is different.

PB=Productive Burp is when you get stuck and burp up some of the food. Small regurgitation of food when stuck. There is no norm for post op diet weight loss. Anywhere from 0-50 depending on what you consider a post op diet and how long it lasts? Mine was 12 lbs for the first 4 months.

You may or may not lose weight post op until about the 6 to 8 week mark. Remember that after surgery is not about weight loss but about healing. If you get that in your head then you wont be disappointed if you dont lose any weight in the beginning.

I lost like nothing until 4 months after I was originally banded. I just could not control my hunger. But once that magic fill hit, BAM! I lost a shedload :)
