Longest incision

I am out 9days and the longest incision is very red and oh so itchy. I am resisting the scratching ofthe area, bit it is very red. I have a very soft shirt on, but I think like today on the treadmill it might rub. I worried about infection. Has this happened to any one else? Would lov e to hear from you.
