I just got my surgery last Thursday and I feel like i am so hungry... What do I do? I don't want to eat too much or get sick...

I was banded last Friday. Have you added thin creamed soups? I have also started yogurt, applesauce, and tonight even had a few bites of mashed potatoes.

What did the doctor give you as far as post op diet?

If you are unsure please call your doctor.

I had pudding and apple sauce today... I think my problem is that I haven't really had the. ''hungry'' or "full" sensation, so I don't know when to start or finish.

I really haven't felt full either. I have been eating small amounts of stuff until I go see my doctor. I actually am seeing him tomorrow so I didn't have too long to wait. If you have doubts call your doctor. I have just stuck with foods on my food list the dr gave me the day of surgery. Good luck!
