PreOp Diet - is green smoothie okay?

Hi everyone - I'm new to the board. I got the great news that my surgery was approved this week.

My surgery is scheduled for Monday, January 28 and I start my liquid diet on Monday 14th.

I just purchased the Nutribullet this weekend and I am curious if along with my Protein shakes it would be okay to include green smothies for the 2 weeks leading up to surgery? Did anyone else do this?

Thank you.

That depends on if you are on full liquids or clear liquids. During the full liquid stage I would say yes, no during clear liquid. Not a fan of green smoothies, I like to chew my veggies but I am sure someone on here drinks them.

I am 5 weeks post op and I am a long time GS fan!! I drink them regularly and

would just just be concerned about them during a clear liquid phase.
