Is the effect of the first fill immediate or does it take a while before you feel restrictions?

    I just had my 1st fill on 12/26. I was on liquid for a day, soft food a day. I'm now back on solids and yes I can tell a difference.

    I got my first fill today. My band holds 11, my doctor filled me with 5. I ate a normal dinner and didn't notice a difference. Just wondering if it takes a couple hours or so to feel the restriction.

    I'm not sure since I didn't eat solids for a couple of days. I expected to feel it immediately bc my nurse asked how my swallow was after drinking water.
