APPROVED!

So, I found out this week that I got approved on the first try. Now the nerves have kicked in and I hate to admit, I'm a little scared. Mostly scared of all the bad stuff that I read. I know I shouldn't concentrate on the cons, but I just can't help being nervous. Anybody else out there with these feelings

I made the mistake of looking up lap band failures right after I was approved. Almost talked my way right out of it. The more I read the more am convinced most complications are because people did not follow orders. I think if a person is really ready to make the changes needed they will be fine. My surgery is scheduled for January 22 and I can't wait.

Don't let all that "bad stuff" get to you! All will go well :) Make sure to read up on all the wonderful success stories in here. They will give you energy! I was banded 17 days ago, and while my recovery was rocky for the first 3 days, I have to say, that it was all worth it! I'm down 22 lbs and it has already boosted my self-esteem.

You can do this! You are worth it!

Good Luck and many blessings your way xoxoxo

I got approved fast also. My date is Jan 10, and yes I feel the same way as you do. I know That I must following the doctors orders to reduce anything bad. Good luck to you
