I am literally driving to my first fill. its a 3 hr drive .. Do i have to do anything before hand? Not eat or drink for a certain number of hours ?

Cannot eats solids2 hrs prior to getting your fill

Best to ask your medical team for their specific guidelines because they do vary from practice to practice! That said, my surgeon doesn't have any rules about not eating or drinking beforehand but wants me on mushies for 24 hours after a fill.

Stop eating at least 30 minutes before fill, and then only liquids after. Doc will tell you the rest!

My doctors states not to eat solids 2hs fill. After fill be on liquids for 3 days, soft/mushy foods for 3 days and then go back to solids.
