Hello, my name is Lina....i had the lap band two yrs ago n since then i lost my job n insurance. That is how long its been since i had my band check out. I am on a fix income due to no job n been doing research on how to get an free adjustment or affordable adjustment for someone on a fix income and so far nothing came up. Im worried about my band cause when i wake up i feel like my stomach is in knots and i throw up sometimes, also i have not lost the weight i should have, due to no fill ins. Have you spoken to your dr about working out a payment plan? You went to all the trouble of getting the band and I am sure you have been at least losing something is 2 years... Maybe he would be sympathetic to your need...

Is there a non profit hospital near by? They may have a reduced cash payment prices.
