Hiccups

So occasionally I get the hiccups for no reason. Afterwards my port site aches and actually feels like a pulled a muscle. Have others experienced this?

  • I have what I call hiccaburps, when either I eat too fast/much or somethings on the road to being stuck. But I don't feel any pain. Are you new to the band?

I've had the hiccups a few times, but I've not had any pain from my port.

Hiccups are part of the program. Severe hiccups may cause your muscles to tense up, and that can pull on the port. I think you are fine, but I would mention it to the doc next visit!
