Surgery Plan In Place

I live 2.5 hours from my LB surgeon and I'm divorced so I had to find someone to take me to and from. Tonight, my parents volunteered to drive me down the day before (for pre-op consult), pay for two connecting hotel rooms for us all to spend the night, and maybe spend the night of surgery if I'm not up to a 2.5-hour car ride after surgery. My parents are awesome and it's so great to have such wonderful support. One more step toward my goal! I'm so excited!

That is awesome! Since my husband and I banded on same day, my in laws came to stay for the day. My fil went back home ( 1 1/2 hours) but on Friday am at 4:00 when I called my mo and sister to take me to ER. he allied in and drove back here to drive my husband up to the hospital and pick up my child! Then when I thought I was over the hump (but was not) my mil who had just gone home day before and doesn't drive often...showed back up to help again! My family has been a God send during this time for us! I'm happy you have that support....let them help you!

it is a blessing to have wonderful family and friends. my husband has been mine
