Protein Smoothie Liquid Base...

I started making these amazing chocolate frozen strawberry smoothies , which are so high in protein 27-48g depending on which powder I use. But I'm wondering what liquid base you guys would recommend to help keep calorie content down alittle more. I've been using almond milk as of now but it's 60 cal/ cup. Any suggestions???

How do you make this I have been trying to find some recipes

Almond breeze sells the lesser calorie one too I think forty calories and soy silk milk is thirty

Diet sodas have carbonation, so most Drs would advise against it

Thanks.. I kinda figured it..I was not one who drink sodas but sometimes I have a taste for a soda.. but oh well

At mrs chocolate my doctors frown against carbonation because of the air could get trapped

I use gnc chocolate protein powder, 1 cup water and a few frozen strawberries in the blender! Soo delicious!

I use water also but add little sugar free jello and peanut butter great

There is a protein powder made by Protizyme, they have peanut butter cookie and chocolate cake flavored and they are AMAZING! I use the powder with either water or almond breeze. Every once in a while I will throw in a shot of Hershey's syrup, mmmm so good!
