Diets

Does anyone do diets or anything like that. My husband is doing the advocare 24 day challange and does a cleanse for the first 14 and then clean eating after that. I thought about it but was not sure i could.

The point of the band is to help us to make lifestyle changes i.e. for the long term, the rest of our life. The very nature of diets is that that are short term because they are unsustainable in the long term. Yes, I count calories and exercise, but I see that as being part of my personal education on this journey so that I am making the right lifestyle changes.

But - people need to do what works for them and we are all different, so my opinion is just that, my opinion.

if you change from the cheap, easy slider foods to healthy, fresh and non processed foods (and every so oftens)

and exercise, diets arent needed. the band will help you eat less, but we gotta help the band by keeping it real.
