Upset Stomach

What do you do for an upset stomach? My go-to has always been Sprite or Ginger Ale. I'm trying to decide what would worse- the carbonation or throwing up. Any suggestions?

If you use soda, make sure it is flat and warm. I have used coke and 7up, and ginger ale all. But, make sure they are flat, You shouldn't have a carbonation. By the way, for being stuck, coke is the best roto-rooter I have found. Best wishes, Karen

KLL when you use coke when you are stuck, is it flat or carbonated???

I have used it both ways. I have used flat coke which was in the cupboard for weeks. I use only about an ounce or two. For me it pushes it down, but both my kids, who also have bands, said that it makes them pb. I, also, have found that for some reason it needs to be the regular stuff not the calorie free(?). Don't know why!

What ever you use, just limit yourself to a few sipsnot a bottle or even a glass full. Best of luck, Karen

You were so right about coke being a roto-router!! Cleared the stuck right up!!

For just a regular upset stomach (not related to being stuck), I either chew on candied ginger or drink hot peppermint tea.

Babies r us carries "preggy pops" which are full of ginger to help combat morning sickness. I can't believe I didn't think of this earlier!!

I got my candied ginger at my local health food store, but those preggy pops sound like a good option too.

Mylanta or Tums chewables.

Ginger or chamomile tea is good for an upset tummy, hope you're feeling better by now.
