Sometimes I am very sensitive after a fill and it takes me almost a week before I am able to really tolerate solid foods with out feeling extremely full or Pbing a little. I have been very sensitive to the band and my fills every since I have had it, I have only had 3 fills in two years. If you can pass water without difficulty I would give it a few days and maybe just do some protein shakes, yogurt and other mushy foods. You may have some swelling since it has been a while since you had a fill. Good luck, just make sure you are taking in fluids so not to get dehydrated.

i do want to add i did eat a small wendy chili yesterday it took a while but it went down and stayed down great im looking foward to more chili lol

It sounds like you just need to relearn bite size and chew chew chew. I always have to relearn after a fill and it does take a while. As long as you can get water down I would give it some time, eat smaller bites slower. Good luck.

If you haven't had any restriction for a while then you have probably slipped back into taking bigger bites, eating quickly etc - you probably need to relearn how to eat.

Elcee called it... I'm feeling just as nervous as you are. Haven't had the band as long, only 6 months, but I've been able to eat pretty much anything. But last fill I suddenly found myself throwing up more, PBing, sliming. But I think it's because I've slipped back to old habits. I'm eating too fast, not chewing enough, not thinking about what I eat...

Today I got another fill because I've been hungry all the time (even though throwing up, etc) so I'm totally nervous... How the hell am I going to be able to eat? I want to eat fast. I want to eat a lot. But I got the band so I can't. Which is WHY I got the band. But it's also freaking me out a little.

Good luck to you!!!!
