Esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD) is a test to examine the lining of the esophagus (the tube that connects your throat to your stomach), stomach, and first part of the small intestine. It is done with a small camera (flexible endoscope) that is inserted down the throat.

Hey good luck on Thursday..I was just in your shoes last week. It will go great..tomorrow is my last day of my liquid diet I'm so excitedddd!!!!!! I went to the doctor yesterday to remove my steri strips..I am now 6 days post op and I feel fabulous!! I haven't experienced any gas pains (yet) thankfully...the most important thing to do I know everyone says it is to walk!!!! you'll be fine keep up posted!!!!

hey they are the little bandages they put over your incisions when you get banded.
