You can TOTALLY do this! It's a mind-over-matter thing. Just know that your body is getting the nourisment it needs and everything else doesn't matter. The pre-op diet is the first exercise in will power we get to do.

Good luck!

Oh honey I promise there is a light at the end of the tunnel.I went through this last month.By the fourth day it was easier for me it was so hard the first three. It's so important to do this it shrinks your liver and makes it easier for the surgeon to do his job.I heard a horror story of a person not following drs orders

on liquid diet and the doctor had to cut patient open instead pf doing the surgery laproscoptic

Good luck and we are all here to support you!!!!

You can do it!

Thanks guys!!!! I'm still hungry but, if I keep myself busy,it's not so bad.... 13 days and counting....

I am on day 5 of my pre-op diet but I drink lots of water when I feel hungry. Its gets better, trust me and my surgery date is October 16th. Also try eating sugar free jello and ask your nutritionist if you can have protein bars. My diet allows me to have 3 shakes and 2 protein bars or 5 shakes during the day. Good luck !!!
