I Dont Know Anymore

I'm so close to calling to cancel my surgery. I'm so scared today. I think it is because I haven't told my BF and he is gonna be so mad. I know he won't understand though. I believe once he sees that it still takes hard work, he will be okay with it. Not having his support before hand is stressing me out even more. I really don't know what to do.

Sooooo, I finally broke down and told my BF. He is behind me 100% because I told him this is something I really needed and wanted. Yes he was upset that I waited 4 days before surgery but he is okay now. I feel so much better and that has gotten rid of a lot of my anxiety. Thank you guys for the online support. Even though you can't see this but I love you David!!!!!

So glad your bf is on board. Having a support system for this is priceless. Good luck on your journey. I'm sure you will do great, keep us posted.

Whew! Glad he is being supportive. I had to be careful when I presented it to my husband - I thought about it a while, then told him that this is something that I want to do for ME, and I'm not a selfish person but I need this to hopefully get to a place one day in my life that I'm comfortable in my own skin. I know men are self-conscious also, but telling him that what I saw in the mirror never made me happy, he understood.
