Pre op????????

Do you know for preop you can have jello and popsicles, do they popsicles have to be sugar free? Thanks so much.:help:

I would call your nutritionist to make sure. I hate artificial sweeteners, but my dietician wanted me on sugar free for the week before surgery. For post-op liquids I was allowed to go back to regular sugars in moderation.

My pre-op was low carb/high protein and I had sf jello with it. I didn't have any popsicles, but I think if they were sf, they would be okay on low carb or liquid pre-op diet

I was allowed sugar free popsicles..
