Hello I work the 2nd shift 2pm -10pm should I work out before or after work I'm very tired after work( 2pm -10pm) recently switch to the 2nd shift I felt great working out when I worked the first shift 6am to 2pm

Exercise is not recommended just prior to going to bed. Also, when you are tired is when your mind may not be sufficiently focused on your activities, and injuries are more prone to happen.

I agree, don't work out at least 4 hrs before going to bed. I suffer from insomnia and take a sleeping pill every nite and if I work out within 4 hrs of going to bed, I don't sleep at all. I vote for working out before work. And then you also get it out of the way!

Thank you Marfar7 i also suffer from insomnia well I've been to multiple sleep study's and the Dr Keeps telling me I'm fine but I can't never sleep a full 6 hrs thanx for the work out info
