Question About Losing Pre Surgery Weight

So I FINALLY got to go to my 1st appointment since the seminar, today! I am very excited to finally be able to begin this journey! I just have a question. They gave me info on something called a Lean & Green Diet, to help me lose the pre surgery weight. I was wondering, do I have to go by this diet to lose the weight or can I do something like weight watchers to lose the weight? Thanks!

      I would give your doctor or nutritionist a quick call and ask them. Some programs are more strict than others. With my WLS program, you were either in or out. No gray areas, no exceptions.

    Usually they specify a strict diet mostly so you shrink your liver and I don't think weight watchers would accomplish this?
