Banded Sept. 7

I am 3 days post opt and I just finished walking about 15 mins in the park. I feel ok. My stiches hurt every now.and agin and the gas is bearable. The hardest part for me is remembering to drink 2 oz of protein ever hour. But I have faith that I will get the hang of it! I also miss swinging on the swing with my little sister but ill hope I will be able to do that next month :•))

Three days out and it sounds like you are doing great! Honestly I think the more you are up and move the quicker you are back to yourself! I am 3 weeks out and was just at a Bouncy Place last night with my two little ones and was climbing and jumping like a champ! (and sweating!!). Before you know it you will feel great again. As for drinking your protein, if you need help set a timer on your cell phone.... Good luck and you will be swinging before you know it!

I was banded on the 7th as well. I was in a lot of pain the first two days but today I'm feeling so much better. Not 100% but it's not as bad as it was. The gas pains are more tolerable today but I want them to go away fast because my back and shoulder pains are what's causing me to not want to get up and move more. I am on full liquids for two weeks but I don't know that I can go that long. I love the homemade broth that I have and I am slowly sipping on watered down apple sauce to give me the feeling like I'm eating. Otherwise I think I'll be good to go back to work on Tuesday. Does anyone have any idea as to how long the gas pains will last? Or any other ideas besides walking and gas X to relieve the gas pains? I hope you are all doing well and recovering fast.
