Sticking to it..sorry lol

That is great, I am on day 6 ugh. I am sure your body is in a bit of shock right now and probably holding onto anything it gets.........10lbs is good, don't worry.

Well I lost the ten in the first five days and it hasn't moved since.

Your rate of weight loss will slow at times, and even reach "plateaus" occasionally, where you can remain compliant with your diet and not see the scale move for a week or more.

As long as you remain compliant with your surgeon's instructions, and continue with your exercise, the weight will come off.

As I've often mentioned, this journey has taught me a life skill which eluded me for years, patience. Try to remember that you did not gain your weight in a short span of time, so it is not realistic to expect that you will loose it rapidly.

Best wishes...

Chances are that first amount of weight you lost was probably mostly Water weight. Most and I know we are all different, tend to lose quickly the first week or two.

When I started I was given a 5% weight loss goal by my surgeon. He wanted me to lose 24 pounds and I had 6 months to do it. Given my size I was starting at I hit the goal in a month and I am betting a good 15 or more was water weight.

Again we are all different though. Stick with it and the scale will come along. Remember our bodies need to adjust as we lose also and sometimes they go into survival mode and don't want to give up its fat stores.

Good Luck!!
