Port Infection

I am 4 days post op and my port incision is still a little sore, red around the area and warm to the touch. I am worried about an infection, so I called my Dr. and he has called in an antibiotic. Has anyone else had this happen and if so what was the out come?

That happened to me. The doctor put me on 10 days of antibiotics and everything has been fine since. That was back in July.
