Weight Loss Halt

I lost 9 lbs in the first week after banding. I have not lost a pound since moving to stage 2 protein shakes and yogurt etc. My band is not filled and I have little or no restriction. I am hungry all the time and still managing less than 1000 cal day plus exercise. Anyone else hit this strange wall?

For a day or two, try increasing food intake to 1200-1300 calories. Sometimes our body needs additional calories to start up again.

My best advice would be to put the scale away until you are at least back on solid foods and try to make good food choices in the meantime. It's not at all uncommon for people not to lose during the healing process or even gain a little.

Hang in there and be patient as your body heals :)
