How Much Protein?

Can I just get an estimate of how much Protein everyone is getting during a day? I know I am low most days, but I need to know how much I should be getting.

Thanks!

  • 60 grams for women and I do the Protein shots first thing in the AM 43 grams . IF you eat and always eat your protein first you should get enough and feel fuller.

  • There is a Almond milk with Protein available. I get the unsweetened vanilla. 30 calories and 5 grams of protein a cup. When I'm home in the morning I put 2 cups In a blender, a banana, 1/2 cup

  • I mix my AM coffee with a pure protein shake and by the end of the day I average about 80g of protein. I was told to get at least 60g per day.

MU nutritionist says 60 grams; she also warned about more than about 25 grans at a time saying the body can't absorb/process anymore than that at once.

I shoot for 100 grams a day.

If you're working out you need more than 60g. I shoot for 100g a day :)

Check with your NUT. I am 7 mo out and not counting protein anymore. And, no liquid protein. Focused on dense protein, healthy meal and only when hungry. Most days is only twice a day. Everyone and every dr/NUT is different.

60-80 but a little more on hard workout days.

Protein should be your #1 macro. If you are exercising I think you need to be much higher. Use supplements if you have to.
