Hysterectomy After Lap Band

Hi

My doctor wants me to have a hysterectomy. I was wondering what others have experienced with a second surgery the same year as lap band? Anyone specifically have a hysterectomy? Do you need to have fluid removed from your band for another sergery to occur?? I am seeing my lap band doc on Tuesday and will ask him all these questions, but am really interested in information from you all...

I had several surgeris since band. No fluid was removed but I would not get a fill before or 2-3 weeks after due to swelling
