I meet w/the surgeon tomorrow for a consulatation. I have turned in my insurance paperwork. What can i expect at the consultation? I am pretty sure I am leaning toward lap band. I'm excited and hope this will be a go for me. I've read and learned SO much on these boards, I sure hope to be back with more questions!

Expect to be asked alot of questions...and it would help you if you also had some of your own to ask the surgeon or their staff. This would help to clarify any lingering doubts you may have as to if this is the correct path for you to take.

Come to the appointment with a focused determination to listen to the discussion. There is alot to take in and learn!
