Day 8 Post Op

Day 8 post op. I started mushies yesterday. So far so good. No problems. I have way less hunger than I did the previous days. I am already down 11 lbs and that makes me pretty happy.

Plication is a procedure that he surgeon does with Lapband (some surgeons are doing it anyway). They fold your stomach and put in sutures so that your stomach is smaller and have more appetite control. So far so good!

I guess I'm not understanding why you would need plication if you are supposed to feel full from the top of the stomach (pouch) Not from the bottom of the stomach. Please advise.
