I am just about 16 months post op and down 136 lbs! I was banded April 27, 2011. I wish I would have found these forums sooner so many great tips and suggestions. Is there anyone out there who can recommend a good eating plan? I am high protein low carb right now but I feel like I am lacking variety and spinning my wheels since there are quite a few things that are harder for me to get down. Anything anyone has tried that works well and also things that I should avoid. Thanks!

great weight loss!

I am doing protein first, then fruits and vegetables , then carbohydrates( bread, pasta, rice, depending on whether my band will allow those items) if I am still hungry. This was recommended by surgeon and nutritionist.

Bread and butter were my downfall foods prior to being banded. On some days now, I can handle toast, eaten slowly, well-chewed. But I have lost that desire for bread and butter !Happy about that!
